DANA COOKING CLASS is a 2 hour DONATION- BASED wellness and nutrition class.
The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
Dana Name Meaning
Giving (dana) is one of the essential preliminary steps of Buddhist practice. When practiced in itself, it is a basis of merit or wholesome kamma. In the practice of giving, this would mean keeping one’s mind pure in the act of giving, selecting the worthiest recipients available, and choosing the most appropriate and generous gifts one can afford.
According to the Buddha, generosity, or sharing what we have, is one of the central pillars of a spiritual life. In the act of giving, we develop our ability to let go, cultivate a spirit of caring, and acknowledge the inter-connectedness that we all share. It is a basis of wholesome karma.

What a beautiful way to start this gorgeous Cali Sunday! Was educated and nourished by Cristina Urioste and Valerie Farcelais by way of a fantastic Dana Cooking class. These ladies are super knowledgeable and doing great things. This was a fun offering of which is a great reminder of ways to increase our daily health and be mindful of what we put in our bodies. Excited to start making a superfood charged up Golden Milk and Kitchari more often.
